We’re reaching out with heavy hearts. Our brother Kru Sam and his family recently lost their beloved mother Bouphaphanh Phimsoutham after a long and difficult battle with Alzheimer’s.
For the past few years, Kru Sam devoted himself fully to caring for her. Due to the nature of her diagnosis, the family was denied access to health insurance, leaving them to cover all medical and living expenses entirely out of pocket — an unimaginable financial burden now totaling over $15,000–$20,000.
Kru Sam has always been there for our community — teaching, supporting, mentoring, and helping to build the Muay Thai culture we all love. He’s given so much, and now it’s our turn to give back.
